We'll help you build your confidence

Learning a language can be daunting, exciting, and also frustrating at times! It also brings great satisfaction as you see yourself progress - learning vocabulary, putting phrases together, and speaking to others.

Everyone has their own way of figuring it out - it could be through song, poetry, conversation, or good old fashioned study. We are here to give you a helping hand when you need it, whatever direction your learning takes you.

Improve Pronunciation with my Phrase Cards

Irish is a language that throws combinations of letters together that can seem really confusing to a learner.  With accented vowels, consonants tripping over each other, and the letter 'h' appearing in lots of places, it can be difficult to know where to start!

This is why each Phrase Card has a column that has a pronunciation guide and videos where you can listen to the sounds of each phrase. As you get accustomed to the sounds, you can then refer to the spelling in Irish column and you will start to make connections between the letter combinations and sounds.

Grammar: love it/hate it

It gives us rules - and then there are the exceptions! It gives us structure - and then we are afraid we will get it wrong!

The Grammar lessons will take you through the core aspects of Irish language grammar in a way that is informative, memorable and enjoyable. Be inquisitive about how it all gets slotted together - and then embrace your own creative constructions!

Conversational Webinars

Coming together to practice, whether that is through conversation, singing in Irish, or learning some Irish language poetry,  there will be a variety of workshop style webinars to join.

Meet fellow learners, join in discussions, learn something new, and have a bit of craic!

Follow us on Instagram/Facebook so you can hear about our next one!
